Died, at his home near Powder Springs campground in this county, on the 6th inst., Rev. Thornton Burk, in his 93rd year. He was born in Elbert county, GA., in 1794, and was ordained as a Baptist preacher in 1833. He had been a faithful preacher for 54 years and died in the full triumph of the Christian faith.
