George Butner |
The Paulding New Era |

George Butner, a negro of Powder Springs, was slain by his wife according to the best information, last Saturday night while walking along the road near their home. Jealousy seems to have been the cause. The woman did the work with a knife, and then called lustily for help. We are pained to announce the death of the loving wife of our friend, Mr. J.J. Poore, of this place. Mrs. Poore leaves a little infant about two weeks old. |
