Jimmy Lee Byess Passes May 22, 2005

Mr. Jimmy Lee Byess, age 47, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005.

Mr. Byess, a Georgia native and life long resident, was a groundskeeper & maintenance man for KOA Campgrounds. He was a Baptist and member of Kenworth Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Byess of Dallas; two sons, Jason Byess & Shane Barnes Byess, both of Dallas; three daughters, Tabitha & son-in-law, PJ Justus of Griffin, India Byess of Chicago and Kim & son-in-law, Matthew Gilbert of Alpharetta; parents, John T. and Carolyn Byess of Dallas; three sisters, Robin Byess of Dallas, Sherry Gowen of Newnan & Debbie Nash of Kennesaw; one brother, Michael Byess of Marietta; two grandchildren, Lillionna and Little PJ; grandmother, Zona Dinsmore; father-in-law, Harold Wright; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, &cousins.

Funeral Services were conducted on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Matthew Gilbert and Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating.

Burial followed in Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
