We inadvertently failed to mention the sudden death of old Uncle Jimmie Cleghorn in our last weeks issue, which occurred in the afternoon of the day of the late election, after the old man had figured pretty much all the day at the polls in the interest of the cause.  Uncle Jimmie claimed to be a brother, or near kinsman of Mr. Cleghorn, of the old firm of Cleghorn, herring & Co., Augusta, Ga, and Philadelphia, Pa.  He was one of the oldest citizens of Paulding county.  Peace to his memory.
