Died. Mrs. Elmer Dewberry residing within two miles of Dallas, departed this life on last Tuesday about twelve o'clock, and was interred at New Hope on last Wednesday. Mrs. Duberry had only been married about twenty months and was the daughter of Mr. S.J. Strickland of this county. It was a very sad death indeed. She leaves her parents, several brothers and sisters, and a devoted husband, besides many other relatives to mourn her loss. She also left a bright little blue eyed child less than a year old upon her affections rested with fond hopes. Mrs. Dewberry joined the church at New Hope and was baptized one year ago this week, and it is a great consolation to know she died trusting fully in the atonement made by the lamb of God; we join in sympathy for the bereaved.
