Dona Maedelle Fleming Passes March 26, 2005

Dona Maedelle Fleming, age 73 of Douglasville, Georgia died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at WellStar Douglas Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Loyd and Fannie Lola Stephens Vaughn.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, Raymond G. “Bubba” Fleming, Stephen “Steve” Fleming and Rochford “Roche” Fleming. She was a homemaker and of the Full Gospel Faith.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Mary Frances Fleming of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Denise and Pete Smith of Virginia; brother, Oliver R. Vaughn of Douglasville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Couch-Garner & Cole Funeral Home with Reverend Helen Shirley officiating.

Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Couch-Garner & Cole Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
