Died. Mr. W.A. Haygood's wife was buried at New Canaan, the 17th inst. Our worthy brother W.A. Ragsdale officiating in the funeral exercises, and made a long and lengthy talk in behalf of all present. He gave the young and old a timely talk of how soon too they must leave this world of sorrow to go to the world unknown. (California Chat)
