July 31. Jesse Hitchcock, one of the pioneer citizens of Paulding county, died at 11 o’clock last night after a short illness. “Uncle Jesse,” as he is familiarly known, was the father of Dr. W.O. Hitchcock, of this place, and is survived by a large number of relatives in this county.
