Mr. Verlon David McTaggart Passes March 21

Mr. Verlon David McTaggart, age 41, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away March 21, 2005 at his residence.

Mr. McTaggart was born October 13, 1963 in Fulton County, Georgia, son of James David McTaggart and Mary Lou McElroy Hamby. He was employed in Retail Grocery Sales and a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.

Survivors include his life partner, David Balas of Hiram; father, James David McTaggart of Dallas; mother, Mary Lou Hamby of Douglasville; sisters, Marie McTaggart of Dallas, Schannin Perez of Dallas, Hope Allen of Douglasville and Candice Braswell of Douglasville; brother, Jan Allen of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from New Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. James Cook officiating.
