Moon, Mary

17 June 1874 (Southern Christian Advocate) Mrs. Mary Moon was born in Laurens district, S. C., July 5th 1800. Her maiden name was Harris. She was first married to Wm. Mead, June 18th 1818. She moved to Clark county, Ga., in 1820. She lost her first husband July 2d 1828. She was married the second time in 1835 to Boler Moon. She was left a widow the second time in 1843. She moved from Clark county to Cobb county and then to Paulding county in 1838. She lived the last four years of her life with her son-in-law, Rev. Walter Lanier, in Bartow county, Ga., She died April 28th 1874. J. J. Singleton
