We regret to learn of the death of Uncle Malley Pickett, an old and highly respected citizen of this county, which occurred at his residence about five miles north of Dallas, Thursday night. He was buried at New Hope today (Friday).

The people, as a general thing, are all well in this community, with the exception of Mrs. Ida Vaughn, who returned home last Friday, somewhat agitated, caused by the sad death of her father, Uncle Malley Pickett. (Roxana)
