Vincent Andrew Zacherl Passes Oct. 5, 2004

Mr. Vincent Andrew Zacherl, age 82, of Dallas, Georgia died Tuesday, October 5, 2004. He served in WWII in the U. s. Army and retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Hapeville in 1983, after forty years of service. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Myers Zacherl; daughters and son-in-law, Pat “Susie” and Doug Freeman of Lithia springs and Lynn “Herk” and James Morris of Carroll County; sons and daughter-in-law, Phil and Judy Zacherl of Fayetteville, Marty and Bonnie Zacherl of Panama City, Florida and Jim and Lela Zacherl of Buford; brother, Wilf Zacherl of Slippery Rock, PA; sisters, Germaine Shaffer, Heneretta McCort, both of Niceville, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2004 in the Chapel of Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Davis-Struempf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
