Mrs. Eliza Payne, an aged lady who resided with her son-in-law, a Mr. Brown, at the depot died of pneumonia last Saturday and was buried Sunday at the Dallas cemetery.  She was about fifty-eight years of age, and had been a consistent member of the Baptist church for twenty-eight years.  She was a comparative stranger to our people, having but recently moved to this place.
