Sandra Jackson Poole, 59, of Canton, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 (at her residence). (She was born September 27, 1948, in Paulding County, Ga.)

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton, with the Rev. Jake Padgett officiating.

Mrs. Poole was a member of the North Cherokee Church of Christ. She was a school bus driver for Cherokee County schools including Cherokee High, Teasley Middle and Hasty Elementary for 22 years.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Poole Sr.; one son, Doug Poole Jr. of Holly Springs; one daughter, Wendy Poole of Canton; her mother, Mary J. Jackson of Dallas; one brother, Jeff Jackson of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
