Married. Mr. E. Davis of Dallas, and Miss Mollie Tidwell, of Atlanta, were married at the residence of the bride's mother last Wednesday evening, Rev. R.B.O. England performing the ceremony. The party, accompanied by Mr. Nichols and Miss Sallie Tidwell, came up to Dallas on the 7 o'clock train that evening. A number of the young people of the town, by invitation, were assembled at the Foote hotel to receive them. After the congratulation were over the party and their friends repaired to the dining room and partook of an elegant supper which had been prepared by Mrs. Foote for the occasion. The evening was passed pleasantly. The couple start out in the life under favorable auspices, with a host of friends who extend their best wishes for their happiness.
