Foote-Medford.

Cards are out announcing the marriage of Miss Jennie Amanda Foote to Mr. Harvey Medford, the ceremony having taken place at the home of the bride on Tuesday afternoon, April 4. Dr. Ham, of the Baptist church, was officiating. The union of this popular young couple will come as a pleasant surprise to a host of friends, who extend to them hearty congratulations. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Colquitt Foote, of 362 Whitehall Street, and one of the most attractive young women of the south side. She comes of one of the oldest families on Georgia, her great-grandfather being one of the original settlers of Paulding county, Georgia, and her grandfather was the late Captain George Foote, of Dallas, Ga. Mr. Medford is a sterling young business man of this city, having located here several years ago, and established himself in the wholesale hardware business. Mr. and Mrs. Medford will leave Friday for California, to visit Mr. Medford’s brother. After July 1 they will be at home to their friends at Woodstock, Ga.
