The Camp McClellan Band
One of the most highly appreciated features Saturday of the Liberty Bond Rally was the splendid music of the band which came from Camp McClellan to help us out. When it was found that the promise of a regimental band from Camp Gordon could not be kept. Messrs. A. W. Stubbs and R. H. Jones made a quick trip to Anninston in a car Friday, and made arrangements for the Artillery Band to come over.Cox-Hedgepeth
Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Dobbs, formerly of Cedartown and now of Americus, announce the marriage of their sister, Miss Mildred Cox, and Mr. J. M. Hedgepeth, of Louisburg, N. C. The marriage occured Wednesday, April 17th, at the study of the Rev. LeRoy G. Henderson.Esom Hill News
Mrs. W. B. Griffith, one of our excellent ladies, died Tuesday morning, aged forty years, after a long period of ill health. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and four children, the youngest only two years of age. The bereaved family have much sympathy.
