Cedartown, April 20---A man by the name of Morrow was brought here from Etna furnace last Sunday night and placed in jail, charged with being a bigamist, the report being that he has a wife in Fannin county and one in Alabama.

  --Mr. And Mrs. C. Philpot have returned for New York.

  ---Asa Z Prior and J. Pink Johnson and lady have gone on a visit to Hot Springs, Ark.

  ---The Sabbath schools of this county picnic at Rockmart on the 1st of May.

  ---Our town wants the Cherokee railroad extended to Gadsden, Ala. (The Daily Constitution, Atlanta, Ga, April 22, 1880)
