Cedartown; March 29--The dwelling house on the plantation of the estate of Thomas A. Chisolm, two miles south of this place, was burned on yesterday--the fire originating in the roof and caused by a defect in one of the chimneys. The building was occupied by Mr. E. Brannon, who lost most of his household goods.

----At a match game of base ball between Cave Spring and Cedartown, played here on last Saturday, the Cave Springs boys came out winners. (The Daily Constitution, Atlanta, GA, March 31, 1880)
