The Georgia Dead at Gettysburg

Having been informed by a person who has visited the spot that the following named Georgians are interred at Gettysburg, and unless removed by fall, the owners have given notice that they "intend plowing up the land and grinding the bones for fertilizing purposes," the Savannah Memorial Association ask each of her sister associations in the State to come forward at once and assist her in removing these remains to a resting place on her own soil. The names can be identified by original chart:

Private F. Lawrence, Company G, 24th Georgia
Private T. B. Fowler, Company G, 24th Georgia
Private W. R. Bracewell, Company G, 49th Georgia
Private Richard Gault, Company F, 51st Georgia
Private E. P. Johnston, Company G, 8th Georgia
Private J. B. Willoughby, Company G, 30th or 80th Georgia
Private R. C. Steele, Company I, 7th, Georgia
Private J. B. Hayden, Company E, 13th Georgia
Private James Caens, Company H, 8th Georgia
Lieutenant C. A. Walker, Company F, 21st Georgia
Lieutenant C. A. Bailey, Company A, 10th Georgia
Sergeant J. T. McCullough, Company A, 3rd Georgia
Sergeant L. W. Bremer, Company K, 51, Georgia
