  ---Some of the boys hereabouts have inaugurated a habit of enticing strange young men into the suburbs on nameless pretenses and then giving them a healthy run to the tune of discharging fire-arms that contain nothing but blank cartridges. If they persist in such fun, they will most surely one of these times wake up the wrong passenger, when all may not be well with them. (The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, Ga, February 7, 1883)
