Rockmart--- Wheat in this county is turning out splendidly---Business very stagnant, and the Laxy Club increasing its membership---Polk County Court convened at Cedartown last Monday, Judge James presided.---The houses of Peter Jennings and Allen Bull, who died with small-pox, were burned by the Marshal on last Friday evening. This is the first conflagration ever witnessed in Rockmart---Reporter (The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, GA, June 28, 1874).
