  Special to the Constitution

  Cedartown, June 5--There was gathered together yesterday at 12:30 o'clock, in the Presbyterian church, a concourse to hear the music of the marriage bell. The birde was Miss Maggie Jones, the daughter of MR. A.R. Jones, brother of the ex-treasurer, a stylish and attractive young lady. Mr. R.D. Vann, of Atlanta, was the groom. This was his former home.

  The ceremonies were performed by the Rev. Mr. Kennard, Episcopalian, in a unique manner. The attendants were: Miss Sallie Bugg Jones, Maggie Waddell, Augusta; Sallie Downer; Mamie Reed; Mattie Waddell, Rowena Dodds; Lorena Young, Annie Trawick; Carrie Ledbetter; Prairie Harris; Annie Harris; Ida Pressley, Rockmart, Messrs. Charlie C. Vann, J.A. Dodds, J. Fulton Colville; Robert E. Parker, Atlanta; Walter Tomlinson, Atlanta; R.T. Gamble, Atlanta; W.H. Wikle, Cartersville; W.C. Dawson, Atlanta; W.A. Graham, Atlanta; Herman Van Devender, Pennsylvania; Isham Daniel, Atlanta; W.A. Camp, Atlanta. The reception given last evening at the residence of the bride's father to the attendants was most sumptuous, elegant and bountiful.

  After the ceremonies, the happy pair were escorted to the train by their friends. After their tour to Washington, Long Branch and New York they will return to Atlanta and make it their home. (The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, Ga, June 6, 1883)
