CROSSES OF HONOR
CONFERRED ON GEN. LEE'S BIRTHDAY

Monday, January 19th, at the City Hall-Basket Dinner for Veterans.
The Cedartown Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy held their annual election of officers yesterday afternoon, which resulted as follows:-
President-Mrs. T. M. Hightower.
1st Vice President-Mrs. J. A. Wynn.
2d Vice President-Mrs. J. A. Blance.
Recording Secretary-Mrs. J. H. Dodds.
Corresponding Secretary-Mrs. F. S. Bunn.
Treasurer-Mrs. J. W. Barr.
Historian-Mrs. A. D. Hogg.
Credentials Committee-Mrs. W. S. Coleman, chm'n. Mrs. J. D. Hightower and Mrs. R. H. Marchman.
The chapter decided to confer Crosses of Honor on all veterans whose applications are now in hand, and the interesting exercises will occur at the City Hall on Monday, Jan. 19th, the birthday anniversary of General Lee.
Mrs. W. C. Bunn, chairman, Mrs. G. S. Borders, Mrs. W. T. Gibson, Mrs. Seaborn Jones and Miss Willie Wood were appointed a committee to prepsre a program for that occasion, and the ladies have decided to serve a basket dinner to the veterans on that day. The program will be published as soon as arranged.
