A WORTHY CAUSE
Ladies Interested in Child Welfare.

One of the noblest charities ever inaugurated in Cedartown is the Sunshine Cottage, a home for dependant children, maintained by the Wayside Club.
One of the oldest of the girls there has been provided with means for entering the Berry School, and it is very desirable that her sister be enabled to go with her.
A number of our good ladiess have taken the matter in hand, and will give a bridge, mah jongg and fourty-two party this afternoon at the home of Mrs. H. M. Hall.
It is hoped that these ladies will have abundant success in their work.

Will Get the Money.

The good ladies who arranged the combination bridge, fourty-two and mah jongg party last Thursday at the home of Mrs. H. M. Hall for the benefit of a Sunshine Cottage girl who has outgrown that splendid institution and whom they wish to send away to school, have every reason to feel happy over their success. The party was well attended, the ladies spent a pleasant afternoon, and $41.40 was realized.
The Ku Klux Klan have generously donated $75 to pay the girl's tuition. All over the country this organization is very liberal in its offerings for such noble purposes as this.
This leaves only a small amount to be raised, and any who feel like contributing are asked to send their donation to Mrs. Hall at once.
There is no better work than helping the underprivileged child, and this particular case is one especially deserving of our help.

At its meeting Friday the Woman's Club generously donated $25 to help one of the Sunshine Cottage girls to go away to school this fall.
