Imogene Hardin Allen
Imogene Hardin Allen, 58, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Benton James and Thelma Shiflett Hardin; sister, Fay Garret; and three brothers, C. J. Hardin, Wendell Hardin, and Robert Hardin. Survivors include: former husband, Tommy Allen; four daughters, Deborah Davis, Melinda Sanchez, Diane Noble, and Tina Ellison; three sons, Timothy L. Allen, Mitchell Allen, James Allen; two sisters, Sally Norton and Lavonne Searles; brother Jerry Hardin; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. James Brewer officiating. The interment followed at the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church. Pallbearers included: Rodney Hardin, David Searles, Rickey Garrett, Robbie Hardin, Kenny Hardin, Harold Hardin, Jerry Boling, Randy Boling, Chris Hardin and Anthony Hardin. Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown had charge of the arrangements.
