Bessemer, March 26 - Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Ivylyn Allred, 71, of 540 Jefferson Ave., Bessemer, were held today at Brown Service Bessemer Chapel, with burial in Brighton Cemetery.
Mrs. Allred died Thursday at a local hospital. She was a native of Cedartown, Ga., and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bessemer. She is survived by three sons, William Allred of Hinesville, Ga., Donald Allred of Prattville and Warren Allred of Bessemer, and a daughter, Mrs. Ivylyn Williams of Bessemer.(Birmingham News, March 26, 1965, page 22)
