Mrs. Lois Myrtie Gilley Anderson
Mrs. Lois Myrtie Gilley Anderson, age 81, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, February 7, 1998. Mrs. Anderson was born February 28, 1916 in Felton and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pennington Anderson. Survivors include three sons, Louis Anderson, of Cedartown, Thomas Anderson, of Heflin, Ala., and Melvin Anderson, of Reveena, Ohio; three brothers, Earl Gilley Gable, of Decatur, Leonard Gilley, of Oklahoma City, OK and Van Gilley of Carrollton; four sisters, Cortez McGraw, of Lindale, Lillian Donaldson, of Roopville, Ronez Hopkins, of Cedartown; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson were held Tuesday, February 10, at 2 p.m. in the Youngs Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Wood and the Rev. Dean Wadarczyk officiating. Interment followed in the Little Creek Cemetery. Lester C. Litesey was in charge of the arrangements.
