Mrs. Mildred Marybell Smith Apr
Mildred Marybell Smith Arp, 75, of 4011 3rd Ave., Rockmart, passed away Friday, May 7, 2004.
She was born April 30, 1929, in Bartow County, daughter of the late Myrtle Marybell Smith and the late Robert Lee Smith. She was a member of the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church of Taylorsville. Mrs. Arp was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Steve Arp and husband, Rayford Franklin Arp.
Survivors include: daughters, Debra Sutton and Vicki Bowman, both of Rockmart; son, Barry Franklin Arp of Rockmart; sisters, Leonora McAlister of Florida, Edna Mae Sutton of Taylorsville and Marcella Ledford of Cartersville; and brothers, Bob Dan Smith of Lindale, William Smith of Aragon and J.L. Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn. Eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral home with Rev. Danny Roberson, Rev. Tommy Cox and Rev. Charles Garrett officiating.
Interment followed in the Rockmart Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers included Dewayne Sutton, Harrison Wilson, Jason Arp, Charlotte peacock, Cecil Disharoom and Chris Bowman.
