Mrs. Alberta Cooper Bailey
Mrs. Alberta Cooper Bailey, age 65, of Cedartown, passed away Monday, April 13, 1998 at her residence. Mrs. Bailey was born January 30, 1933 in Polk County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Emmett Cooper and Ruby Philpot Cooper. Survivors include two sons, Charles B. Bailey, Jr. of Center, Ala., Freddie Dewayne Cooper of Cedartown; two brothers, Eudell Cooper and Albert Cooper, both of Cedartown. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16, 1998 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Grady Welchel officiating. Interment followed at Northview Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
