Mrs. Virginia F. Bailey
Mrs. Virginia F. Bailey, age 75, of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 1998 in a local hospital. Mrs. Bailey was born August 10, 1922 in Polk County. She was a member of New Etna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Otis Fleming and Luella Brown Fleming. Survivors include her husband, Andy G. Bailey, of Cedartown; and a sister Katharine F. Daugherty, of Tennessee. The funeral service was held Thursday, January 15, 1998 at 3 p.m. from New Etna Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Thomas officiating. Interment followed in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Curt Lockridge, Jason Lockridge, Matt Brown, Derrick Lee, Adam Lee, and Danny Whaley. Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements.
