Susie Nettles Baldwin
Susie Nettles Baldwin, 84, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 1997 at her residence. Mrs. Baldwin was born Feb. 15, 1913 in Rockmart. She was a member of the Morning View Baptist Church, a former Goodyear employee and a retired Aragon Mill employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clyde Baldwin, Sr.. Surviving are: son, Clyde Baldwin, Jr., of Rockmart; two brothers, Raymond Nettles and James Nettles, both of Rockmart; sister, Eula V. Williams of Cedartown; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m., from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lawrence Garrett and Rev. Talmadge Pope officiating. Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were: Edward Nettles, Pierce Nettles, Dustin Lindsey, Brad Garrett, Richard Nettles and Ray Nettles. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
