Mr. Horace J. Cain, age 79, of 283 Cantrell Rd. died Monday, April 16, (1990) in the local hospital. He was born August 24, 1910, in Polk County. He was a retired carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Robinson Cain, and parents, Charlie and Doshia Holtzclaw Cain.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Aileen Jones of Davenport, FL. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service was held Wednesday, April 18, (1990) at 11 a.m. from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Garrett officiating. Interment followed in Hills Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Jones, Bobby Jones, Barry Jones, Roger Jones, Lyle Cain and Calvin McAlister. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
