In Memoriam
Polk county lost another good citizen Aug. 15th, when the death angel took away Mr. E. A. Camp, aged 59 years. He was born in Polk on April 4th, 1865, and was married to Miss Nannie Young in 1888. Twelve children blessed their union, all of whom are living now. He joined the Baptist church about 28 years ago and has been a faithful member. Mr. Camp was a good man, and we know by the talk he gave us he has gone to rest. He said a little while before he died that he was ready to go, and there was nothing between him and God. We would say to the wife and children, weep not, for God does all things well.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at Lime Branch by Rev. H. T. Oswalt, and he was laid to rest there. Surviving him are his wife and twelve children; Messrs. Allen, Sloan, Nathaniel, Rufus, J. C., and Major Camp, Mesdames A. B. McCurry, W. B. Sorrells, Wm. Kelley, M. W. Lee, S. C. Parrish and H. J. Odom.
