Roy Eugene Camp, age 64, 1900 Cedartown Highway, Rockmart, died Monday, July 20, 1992. Mr. Camp was born March 9, 1928, in Polk County. He was a retired Goodyear employee and a member of the Van Wert Baptist Church. Surviving are his father Henry Camp, Rockmart; three daughters, Joyce Harris, Rockmart; Judy Walker, Forsyth; Jane Dunn, Rockmart; two brothers, Rena Camp, Rockmart; Robert Camp, Rockmart; two sisters, Betty Bramlett, and Mary S. Rice, Rockmart. Eight grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. David Taylor, the Rev. Danny Dunn and the Rev. James Brewer officiating. Interment followed in the Wimberly Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Matt Harris, Robbie Camp, Mitchell Rice, Dale Bramlett, O. C. Landers, and Buell Ingram. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home of Rockmart was in charge of arrangements.
