Ella Mae Lyles Carroll, 76,
of Warner Robins, passed away Saturday, July 5, 1997.
Mrs. Carroll was born June 7, 1921 in Macon. She was a member of the
Glad Tidings Tabernacle of Macon and the Bibb Company Women's Club, and a sales clerk at K-Mart. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Otha L. and Florie Talmus Lyles, and
husband James Howard Carroll. Surviving are: four daughters, Mary B.
Callins and Jeannie B. Murphy,
both of Warner Robins, Elizabeth B. Newman of Roberta and Frankie B.
Bass of Macon: two sisters, Betty L. Pipkin and Matile L. Kitchens, both
of Macon; two brothers, William
Lyles of Macon and Malcolm Lyles of Glenwood; nine grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, July 7, at
11 a.m., in the McCullough Funeral
Home, Warner Robins, with the Rev. Sydney Odom and the Rev. Linda Gayle
Thompson officiating. Interment followed in the Salem Baptist Church
Cemetery of Cochran. This local
announcement was furnished for the family by the Gammage Funeral Home.
