Mrs. G. W. Carter, died Friday afternoon at her home on Cave Spring street, and funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church by Rev. Fletcher Walton, the remains being laid to rest in the city cemetery. She was a most estimable lady, and the family have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
