Mrs. Edna Butler Cason, 46, of Rockmart passed away April 30 at Rockmart-Aragon Hospital. Mrs. Cason was born in Paulding County, Feb.3, 1922, a daughter of the late James and Ruth Busby Butler. Surviving are: her husband -- Frank Cason of Rockmart; one son -- Franklin E. Cason, Jr. of Rockmart; three daughters -- Mrs. Ronald Loggins of Dalton, Miss Brenda Cason of Rockmart and Mrs. Dudley Waites of Buford, Ga.; one sister -- Mrs. T.P. Cole of Villa Rica; six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday from the chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Horace Wilson officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Sanford Tapley, Tommy Cole, Ronnie Loggins, Dudley Waites, Freddie Garnder and Ronnie Gober. Freeman Harris Funeral Home of Rockmart was in charge of arrangements.
