Funeral services for William Osburn Cleveland were
held Monday afternoon at Lime Branch church with Rev. Walter Moore, pastor
of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the adjoining
cemetery with Roberts Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers
were Gordon Brewster, Wallis Brumby, R. L. Casey, T. R. Marett, Buddy
Nation, George Ayers, C. R. Hmmill and C. C. Bunn. Mr. Cleveland a retired
merchant and farmer, died of a heart attack at the home on Gibson street
Sunday morning. He lived his entire life in Cedartown, where he was born in
1872. He was a Mason and a member of the Woodmen of the World. Surviving are
his wife; seven sons, C. H. Cleveland, of Senola, H. E., W. F. and J. C.
Cleveland, of Birmingham, Ala.; Ned Cleveland, of Chicago, Ill.; and H. a.
and O. O. Cleveland, of Honolulu, Hawaii; five daughters, Mrs. W. M. Crews
and Mrs. W. M. Key, of Birmingham; Mrs. F. F. Abercromble and Mrs. R. P.
Dial, of Atlanta; and Mrs. W. B. Woodward, of Cedartown; three brothers,
Grover, Dock and Ben Cleveland, all of Birmingham; and three sisters, Mrs.
Charlie Gross, of Rome; Mrs. Borden Gross, of Summerville and Mrs. W. B.
