Mrs. Ida Little Dabbs, 86, 31 Prospect Rd., Rockmart, died Saturday, October 30, 1999, in Rome. She was born July 4, 1913 in Bartow County, was a member of Morning View Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. Dabbs; parents, Henry and Avie Lou Ruff Little. Surviving are four sons, Marvin E. Dabbs of Pflugerville, Texas; Nolan L. Dabbs, Jerry Dabbs and Randy Dabbs, all of Rockmart ; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 from Morning View Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Garrett and Rev. Owen Davis, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers; Zack Dabbs, Terry Dabbs, Jeff Dabbs, David Dabbs, Randall Willis and Scott Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers; Dan Casey and Deacons of Morning View Baptist Church. Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. (The Rockmart Journal November 1999)
