Miss Wilma Dansby, age 81, of Rockmart, died Thursday, January 15, 1998, at her residence. Miss Dansby was born April 15, 1916, in Polk County. She was a former Goodyear employee and a retired bookkeeper with Carlton Department Store, and a member of Rockmart First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Durham and Mary Albina Holland Dansby; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Una Mae Noland, of Rockmart; and a number of nieces and nephews. The graveside funeral service was held Saturday, January 17, 1998, at 11 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
