James Wallace Denman, 66, of 651 West Avenue, passed away Sunday, March 2,
1997, in an out-of-town hospital. Mr. Denman was born May 15, 1930 in Polk
County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Seaborn Arlin Denman, Sr. and Emma Elizabeth Thompson Denman; two
brothers, Buddy Denman and Joe Ronnie Denman; and sister, Nellie Denman
Long. Survivors include; wife, Sallie T. Denman of Cedartown; three
daughters, Gwen Patterson and Dollene Ray, both of Cedartown, and Patricia
Carney of Rome; son Danny Cuzzourt, Sr. of Rome; sister, Aline Kight of
North Augusta, S.C.; two brothers, Seaborn Arlin Denman, Jr. of Warner
Robbins, and Charles C. Denman of San Antonia, Texas; nine grandchildren;
and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March
5, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy
Fraiser and Clifford Chandler officiating. Burial followed in Northview
Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jon Rhinehart, Ken Patterson, Johnny Fraiser,
Clifton Thrasher, David Thrasher, and Mark Shackleton. The Gammage Funeral
Home had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, Ga,
