Mr. Dewey Seals Dill, age 48, 428 Ledbetter Street, Cedartown, passed away Friday morning, Mr. Dill was born September 20, 1935 in Cedartown. He was a member of the Etna Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Janice Finch Dill of Cedartown; mother, Mrs. Annie Dill of Cedartown; two sons, Keith Dill of Rome, Michael Dill of Cedartown, three daughters. Mrs. Rita Cook, Mrs. Vickie Hutcheson, both of Rome, Miss Shelia Dill of Atlanta; one brother Cecil Dill of El Paso, Texas; two sisters Mrs. Evelyn Wynne of Rome, Mrs. Joe Engelman of Englewood, Florida; three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Pank Adams officiating, interment followed in Oak Noll Memorial Gardens in Rome.
Pallbearers were Bobby Thompson, Dewey Couch, Larry Cook, Steve Hutcheson, Lamar Fowler, Mike Boatwright, Bill Hudgins, Gregory Lovingood. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, page 2, February 23, 1984)
