Mr. Robert Hoyt Dingler

Mr. Robert Hoyt Dingler, 78, of Cedartown passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 after a short illness. He was born June 4, 1930, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dingler.
He was a retired detective from the Polk County Police Department with more than thirty years of service.
Mr. Hoyt Dingler is survived by wife, Doris Dingler; sister-in-law, Ruby Dingler; daughter-in-law, Brenda Dingler. Two grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He is preceded in death by son, Steve Dingler; parents, George Alexander Dingler and Martha Abney Dingler and brother, Charles Van “Catfish” Dingler.
The funeral service for Mr. Robert Hoyt Dingler will be conducted on Friday, April 17th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Frasier officiating. The interment service will follow in Pine Bower Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Robert Hoyt Dingler.
