DRUMMOND
Mr. James Ivey Drummond, 83 of 2536 Lowell Ave. died Sunday after a brief illness. Mr. Drummond was born in Cedartown, Ga and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Woodstock Park Baptist Church. He was formerly a car inspector with the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, retiring 15 years ago after 35 years service. Survivors include wife, Mrs. Stella Fender Drummond; two daughters, Mrs. Tim Buchan, Mrs. W. D. Carroll, all of Jacksonville; three sons, James W. Drummond of Detroit, Mich., Rev. Leon Drummond of Jacksonville and A. J. Hutchinson of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Blond of Hiram, Ga., Mrs. Lilly Green of Decatur, Ga.; two brothers, W. C. Drummond of Jacksonville and B. F. Drummond of Cedartown, Ga., also 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Woodstock Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul O. Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Clinton Anderson, Marvin Crews, David Harrell, Henry Moore, Ocie Scott, Marion Austin, Honorary, members of the Men's Bible Class of the church. Hardage and Sons Riverside Funeral Home, 517 Park St. is in charge. (Florida Times Union on January 20, 1969 in section B-9)
