Mrs. Rody Lee Drummond
Mrs. Rody Lee Drummond, age 64, passed away Wednesday in a Rome hospital. She was born September 24, 1920 in Cherokee County, AL. She was a member of Lake Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Three daughters, Ruby Edwards, Doris Sherbert, Esom Hill, GA., Sylva Ledbetter, Cedartown: four sons, Lewis Drummond, Jr., David Green, James Green, all of Cedartown, Herman (Bud) Green, Aragon: one sister, Lula B. Rosser, Cave Spring: one brother, Lewis Highfield, Trinity, Texas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Friday, at the Lake Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Brown and the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements.
