Ann M. Eason, age 72, of Roswell, passed away Thursday, October 24, 1996. Mrs. Eason was born November 5, 1923 in Polk County. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Chester Phillips; son, Phil Phillips; parents, Henry and Goldie J. Green and sister, Virginia Meeks. Survivors include her husband, Donald Eason of Cedartown; three daughters, Carole Ann Phillips of Roswell, Iona Dale Bradshaw of Nashville, Tenn., and Lavonne Goldschmidt of Alpharetta; two sons, Byron Daniel Phillips of Stone Mountain and C. W. Nicky Phillips of Bowdon; two sisters, Susie Wiggins of Cedartown and Viola Baldwin of Ashville, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Guy officiating. Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were: Mack Cheatwood, Ronnie Brummit, Jimmy Phillips, Franklin Phillips, Jim Meeks, Harold Wiggins, Darrell Wiggins and Danny Wiggins.
