Mrs. Geraldine East, 67, 868 Wimberly Hill Rd., Cedartown, died December 16, 2003.
Mrs. East was born October 3, 1936 in Polk County, daughter of the late Earnest Elisha Roberts and Sarah Mandie McDonald Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of West Rome Christian Church.
Surviving are husband, Bud East, Cedartown, to whom she was married July 26, 1953; sons, Barry East, Cedartown and Randy East, Sandy Springs; daughters, Becky Whitaker, Rockmart and Linda Young, Whitesburge; brother Ed McBurnett Cedartown; sister Edna Watson, Rome; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 in the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Owen Davis, Jr. officiating. Interment was held in Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Lee East, Joshua Hastings East, William Matthew Young, Roger Benjamin Young, Joseph Michael Walraven and Adam Lee Smith.
Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
