Maggie Tillery Easterwood, 90, of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, Dec.
30, 2001. She was born Dec. 10, 1911 in Alabama. Mrs. Easterwood was
a member of the Cedartown Church of God. She was preceded in death
by her husband, W.M.(Bill) Easterwood; father and mother, JeeLee Tillery
and Mattie Tillery. Surviving are: two daughters, Martha McElwee of
Tallapoosa and Betty Vines of Buchanan; brother, Howard Tillery of
Cedartown; sister, Nellie Grey of Cleveland, six grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. in the
Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Agan
officiating. Interment followed in the New Harmony Cemetery. The Lester
C. Litesey Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
