Mrs. Mary Morgan Easterwood, 58, Cedartown Rt. 1, died Wednesday
morning in a Cedartown Nursing Home after several weeks illness. She was
born in Floyd County, April 14, 1907, but had lived in Cedartown for 45
years.
She was a member of Seney Baptist Church. Surviving are; her husband--
William M. of Cedartown; two sons--Earnest of Cedartown and Lewis of
Columbia, S.C.; three sisters--Mrs. Josie McBurnett of Hendersonville,
N.C.,
Mrs. Virginia Sullivan of Rome and Mrs. Essie Knight of Centre, Ala.; two
brothers--J.T. Morgan of Cedartown and Lester Morgan of Rome; six
grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the
chapel
of Olin Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. J. C. Lorrens and the Rev.
Grover Cook officiating. Interment in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers
were:
Fields Whatley, J.S. Holland, Sr., Forrest Baldwin, W.M. Moss, M.M.
Cornelius,
and Owen Davis. Olin Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
